The Marketing Analyst role will be a dedicated problem solver focused on tying multiple internal and external data sources together via automation with the end goal of extracting valuable insights. This role goes beyond reporting. There will be a strong emphasis on marketing performance and ROI. The ultimate goal is to get to predictive levels where marketing can better forecast their needs or adjust their planning and execution in an agile manner. They need to have a passion for turning data into insights, with a strong focus on marketing and digital initiatives. This role will not be in charge of database management but needs a strong working knowledge of the data available. They will partner with other technical resources to be informed and alerted when database changes or additions are made.
  • Measure marketing’s effectiveness, from a campaign level to a full marketing mix, based on objectives or conversion points
  • Create and maintain automated displays of metrics in dashboard, web interface, email or text format
  • At times, provide consumer trends, demographic or psychographic data within the vicinity of our properties
  • Record the performance trends on a weekly, monthly and quarterly level
  • Demonstrate results in simple visual and intuitive fashion
  • Work with your team to understand and interpret data requests from CMO, field marketers and prioritize delivery appropriately
  • Evolve to predictive reporting, showcasing actual results and sharing frequently with business partners
  • Strong thought leadership on how data/insights can be turned into valuable suggestions for marketing
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing reporting, report automation and measurement
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborations skills to partner with and influence others
  • Someone who is detail-oriented, a team-player and effective in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively present, and the courage to defend, ideas
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can lead projects to completion
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with little direction in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Must have previous experience bringing multi-sourced data –APIs and click-stream – in via automation
  • Offer a strategic perspective, sound business judgment, deep analytical capabilities
  • Have a collaborative working style, with a roll-up-the-sleeves mindset
  • Experience with batch and real-time data processing frameworks
  • Knowledgeable about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques
  • Experience ingesting large amount of raw data (web logs, web pages, data feeds)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SQL, SAS, SQL, Alteryx and Adobe or Google Analytics a plus
  • 3+ years relevant experience in marketing analytics and/or digital analytics
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, e.g. applied math, engineering, computer science, economics, etc.
  • Experience in Real Estate non-essential
