POSITION SUMMARY:  
Under the guidance of the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, and the Digital Studio team, you will join a formidable team to create world-class digital content for our projects across the country.  The Digital Content Designer will be responsible for designing, versioning and optimizing content to deliver daily creative across social media and integrated brand and online communication campaigns.
 
Seeking a Digital Content Designer with experience delivering a high volume of well-designed content for social media and web. You solve strategy and business objectives with boomerangs, 15 second videos and emojis, but you’re also passionate about typography and contemporary design.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver and design for social strategy that grows brand affinity, engagement, reach, audience and conversion for all Howard Hughes properties.
  • Act as social media advocate across the company ensuring social is thoughtfully factored into partnerships, experiences, campaigns and products.
  • Ensure successful delivery of all creative across social media and integrated brand and online communication campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally between the design teams, channel managers, external agencies within the Marketing / Studio / Digital Studio departments.
  • Stay on top and report on all developments in the digital/social landscape. Have a point of view on how best to incorporate them into strategy.
  • Liaise with the Finishing Artist and Production Manager to deliver on all project timelines.
  • Energetic input on all reviews and brainstorms with Creative Directors and other members of the team to continuously improve both project process and outcomes.
  • Lead by example and adhere to the guiding principles of the Howard Hughes brand in order to nurture a culture of creativity and collaboration
     
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Approximately 5+ years industry experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – including Premiere and After Effects.
  • Fashion, beauty, retail and hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Experience designing for all major social platforms.
  • Basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and the ambition to make the HHStudio one of America’s leading creative agencies.
  • Real estate experience would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
  • Keynote and PowerPoint experience.
 
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • BS/MS Communication, Design or related field of study.
