POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Construction Project Administrator is responsible for overseeing construction related projects and will report to the Director of Construction. The Construction Project Administrator will coordinate and organize all construction related projects.  This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multi task, excellent communication skills, work well in a team setting and perform efficiently on their own with minimal supervision.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Interface and respond to requests for information from other companies, governmental agencies, and Engineering and Planning departments.
  • Maintain, track, and coordinate all construction project progress, costs, and changes which involves:
    • Tracking and entering contractor’s vendor contracts, task orders, and purchase orders.
    • Obtaining Dust Permits for all projects. This includes issuing of dust permits, signage, and keeping all permits current.
    • Processing, tracking and inputting of all construction costs which includes all invoices, utility bills, and all monthly spending into the monthly spending report.
    • Obtaining SWPPP for all projects.
    • Tracking and issuing of all project plans and revisions.
    • Organizing all project files.
    • Occasional trips to government agencies or utilities companies to drop off documents.
    • Coordinating the entire bidding process to include pre-bid meetings, create bid tabs and summaries, awarding of each project, and issuance of notice to proceed
  • Schedule and conduct construction progress meetings, as well as review schedules and work progress with all Construction Project Managers and the Director of Construction.
  • General office responsibilities include but not limited to overseeing the maintenance of company vehicles, participation in reception relief rotation schedule, and monthly reallocation of PCard expenses.
 
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Proven track record as a project administrator for Construction, Engineering or similar company.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Must be professional and possess the ability to deal with all levels of management.
 
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or some college level in construction management preferred.
  • At least 5 years work experience in construction for a land development company.
  • State of Nevada Notary Public.
