POSITION SUMMARY:  
In 2014 our company invested in a full service marketing and branding agency to further advance the company’s leadership position by developing integrated brand strategies and communications.
With the company now in its 6th year of operation the brand is now investing in a centralized marketing function to ensure alignment of vision, execution of creativity at the highest level and marketing innovation across all channels in the UX economy.
 
This is an exciting new position for the company. In this role you will be responsible for developing marketing and service policies, establishing centralized reporting, programs and systems to support strategic direction and alignment of business plans. The Vice President of Marketing will partner with Marketers on the ground in each property, project business owners, senior executives and the digital team to ensure the best possible service, communications and engagement with customers, stakeholders, partners and shareholders.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Partner with project marketers to develop annual marketing plans in support of organizational strategy and property business objectives.
  • Direct implementation and execution of marketing and service policies and practices.
  • Ensure marketers and properties are supported to execute marketing communications at the highest level.This includes development of strategy to ensure the marketing plan objectives are achieved and where possible exceeded. Develop measurement tools, insight and tactical planning to meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with business owners and marketers on the ground in each property.
  • Develop and manage a broad range of marketing strategies in the areas of retail, residential, commercial and master-plan/mix use property.
  • Provide leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and strategic sponsorship/ partnership arrangements.
  • Provide leadership and support for the design, development and implementation of products and service lines. Develop new revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee and direct market research, competitor analyses and customer experience strategy in collaboration with the digital and operations teams.
  • Manage the centralized marketing services department, including development and distribution of all marketing collateral.
  • Partner with internal clients such HR, Digital, CEO and Presidents office to support internal communications and investor relations as required.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Must be a skilled leader who creates an inspiring (and possibly disruptive) vision, who communicates the vision well, and who leads by example through mentoring and coaching a high performance marketing team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a cross-functional team.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can lead projects to completion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with little direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Digital and Ecommerce experience.
  • Strong UX and UI understanding.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
    Minimum 8 years in marketing.
    Experience managing multiple brands and stakeholders.
  • Experience in Real Estate non-essential.
